At PEAK, we are dedicated to practicing sustainability whenever possible to eliminate waste and reduce our impact on the environment. We are always looking for new and creative ways to reduce our waste, increase our company efficiency and offer our clients the opportunity to be more environmentally conscious by working with us.

Go Green with Rentals

Did you know that by renting your décor and general equipment, you help make a positive impact on the environment? From linens and glassware, to china, flatware and more, we have everything you need to create a stylish design while eliminating the need to use plastic or paper products at an event. We are proud offer planners sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions to event décor as well as practicing environmentally conscious initiatives.

Throughout our warehouse and offices, we make every effort to control our use of electricity and water and have adopted both technology and practices to conserve energy. Read about our “green” initiatives below:

  • We use environmentally friendly cleaning chemicals in our dishwashing and laundry departments as well as general equipment maintenance.
  • We use reverse osmosis dishwashers as well as zero-waste systematic washing machines to recycle water and reduce our overall water waste.
  • We repurpose damaged or discontinued table linens by recycling them into swatch samples and napkins, or by donating them.
  • We use an automatic plastic bagger in our linen fulfillment department that exactly measures how much plastic needed to wrap each linen, thereby reducing plastic waste.
  • We reuse or recycle our linen hangers whenever possible and encourage our clients to do the same.
  • Our warehouses and offices are outfitted with energy efficient technology like LED lighting and motion sensors to reduce the amount of energy we use.
  • We’ve implemented a desiccant dehumidifying system to dry our tents following cleaning, which cuts back on the amount of energy we use.
  • We use concrete ballasts to weight down our tents as opposed to water barrels (which are each filled with tens of gallons of potable water), thereby eliminating any water waste.
  • Our trucks are equipped with GPS navigation and a route management system called Omnitracs, which maps the most fuel- and cost-efficient routes for our delivery drivers. This ultimately saves on the amount of fuel we use, decreases the instance of overlapping routes, and reduces the amount of trucks we have on the road at any given time. This GPS technology also provides our Dispatch Team real-time location of vehicles and allows us to track when deliveries will arrive and prevent our customers from experiencing missed deliveries.
