Gourmet Caterers

Gourmet CaterersMother's Day Special
Gourmet is offering a special Mother's Day Menu for takeout or delivery, with 10% of orders going to support their partners with feeding healthcare workers.  The menu includes starters like jumbo shrimp, JFK's Maine Lobster Stew by Lydia Shire, three course dinner menu options for four guests, and a la carte specials.  You can also add on wine by the bottle.  Gourmet is also partnering with Stapleton Floral Design to so you can to surprise mom (or yourself) with a beautiful spring floral arrangement.

Gourment asks that orders be placed by 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 7.  Meals are available for pick up on Saturday, May 9 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm or Sunday, May 10 from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon from their kitchen at 3867 Washington Street, Roslindale, MA 02131

Gourmet Caterers has also been providing grocery boxes to all of their employees on a weekly basis. Several hundred of them have already been distributed!

MAX at Home! We at MAX Ultimate Food recognize that you need an easy solution to meet the basic necessity of preparing and serving dinner while ensuring your safety and well-being. We rolled out our MAX at Home weekly dinner menu designed to provide a daily meal or weeks’ worth of meals safely delivered to your doorstep by MAX. Meals can be delivered ready to “heat and eat” or frozen to be enjoyed throughout the week. Complete heating instructions are included with all meals. Our menus provide a wide variety of options for you to pick and choose from to build your own dinner. We even offer kids’ meals for those finicky eaters. Lastly, we are offering a beverage delivery service complete with wine pairing and batched specialty cocktails to round off your meal. Just because you are stuck in, doesn’t mean you should go without!

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
Bringing all of our employees back to work! We miss all of our crew and can’t wait to have the whole team back together again.

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
Please be assured that the safety and well-being of all our clients, guests and associates remain our top priority at MAX Ultimate Food. We continue to closely monitor the CDC and WHO recommendations. Together we will get through this. We are here for you.

Lombardo's

What types of services are you currently offering
We are closed as “Lombardo’s” temporarily of course, however we are operating as “LomLombardo'sbardo’s To Go” with a limited menu. We are focusing our efforts during this pandemic on helping serve our healthcare workers. We started a Facebook fundraiser and have raised over $20,000 so far! We deliver around 200 lunches daily to the Boston hospitals and Greater Boston hospitals as well, with a focus on the COVID-19 impacted hospitals and departments. So, we are not really featuring our normal menu items, rather cooking “chef’s choice,” which have been some wonderful gourmet meals.

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
We are looking forward to seeing our associates! We miss everyone so much and our daily routines. We are anxious to be creative again and we are especially ready to host our clients and their families and friends and watch them celebrate life’s occasions again! 

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We want to share that we WILL all be back, as a family, as an industry and as a community. It seems like there is no end in sight, but we are taking this time to reflect on how to be better in the future and also find the silver linings that are hidden beneath it all. Enjoy the time with your family, and the time to take on a new project or recipe. We all move too fast so this has shown us how to slow down and what is truly important in life.

Catering by Andrew

Catering by AndrewWhat types of services are you currently offering?
Catering by Andrew is a premier Kosher Catering destination in Brookline MA that has just launched ‘CBA-2-U’ - a new lunch & dinner restaurant-style menu available for delivery via Grubhub. We also offer a Shabbat and Weekend family-style takeout for both contactless delivery and pick-up at our retail store in Brookline. This is in addition to our CBA Marketplace that offers a variety of pantry items you may need such as flour, yeast and fresh fish. Full menus for both can be found here.

Our daily lunch and dinner menus is available Sundays – Thursdays from 11AM-7:45PM

Our retail Shabbat menu is available for pickup and delivery Fridays from 10-2PM

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
Our salespeople say the best part of their jobs is the joy they bring you when they see the events they plan come to life. One of our biggest challenges right now is providing our clients with a sense of certainty about their future events, during this very uncertain time when we don’t yet know the shape and structure of planning large events in the future. We’ve been overwhelmed with how our community has responded to this crisis; from donating shabbat meals to those in need to creative adjustments on celebrating Passover and bringing 2600 Seders In a Box to the greater Boston area. We’re looking forward to finding ways to continue to give back and support this community.

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We are looking forward to once again celebrating your life events with you in person. In the meantime, to get back to our events season sooner, we are taking every precaution to put the health and safety of our team in the kitchen and to our clients while transitioning to post quarantine-events.

Caper's Catering

As an antidote to any homebound restrictions you may be under, Capers is introducing “Dinner at Your Doorstep.” Let us bring you any incredible meal, delivered right to your doorstep, no contact necessary! Check out current menu offerings. We are accepting orders by 2 p.m. for next day delivery. (For larger orders, we ask for as much notice as possible.) We are also offering weekly specials of 4 servings, which are announced each Friday.

At Capers, your health and safety—and that of our team members—are always our top priority. You’ll be happy to hear that the CDC guidelines represent steps we already take in our day-to-day operations to provide a safe, healthy environment as we cater to you. Now, we are simply redoubling—even tripling—our efforts.

The Chef's Table

The Chef's TableWhat types of services are you currently offering?
We are currently offering daily curbside pickup of family meals and also a Ding, Dong Ditch
delivery service. We were busy with Easter orders and are starting to put together some delivery packages for Mother’s Day.  

We have also been very lucky in that we have had clients who have asked to sponsor larger scale deliveries to police departments and hospitals, so that has been keeping our limited staff busy.

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
We are anxiously waiting to see all of our staff in person, both our commissary crew and our part-time event staff! We don’t always get a lot of time to talk at events, but there are usually those few minutes when the event is set up, but guests have yet to arrive—those moments are priceless and right now, are truly missed!

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We can’t wait to get back to working hard with our vendor partners to create amazing celebrations for our clients!   Events may have to look a little different for a while, but the spirit, attention to detail and great food will still be there. There will be a lot to celebrate on the other side of this and we are excited to be a part of it!

Two Chef's Catering

Two Chef's CateringWhat types of services are you currently offering?
Two Chefs Catering is now offering Curb Side Pick-up in Lowell.  Selections vary each week. Menus are available on the Two Chefs Facebook page or by emailing eventplanning@twochefsfood.com. A special Mother’s Day menu is available for pick up on May 8th or 9th. 

Generous donors have been contacting Two Chefs looking for us to deliver meals to those in need.  We have provided meals to staff at a local hospitals and families struggling because of unemployment.  We love that people are supporting our business while also helping others in the community.

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
Two Chefs cannot wait for celebrations to resume again once it is safe to do so. Providing families with delicious food and warm friendly service is what we do best.  We miss being with and taking care of people. This quarantine will make us appreciate throwing parties even more.

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We want all our clients and fellow vendors to stay safe first and foremost.  This is a huge hit to so many businesses and we want to see everybody come back from this.  We cannot wait to see everyone on the other side. Be safe and be kind.

The Catered Affair

the Catered AffairWhat types of services are you currently offering?
The TCA Family Meal menu features a variety of dishes curated by our chefs to bring our sophisticated cuisine to your home. Each dish will arrive with no–fuss reheating instructions to provide you a delicious meal experience in minutes. The menu also includes restaurant-style date night specials for two and specialty wines to complete your meal. 

If you prefer to do the cooking yourself, TCA is also offering Market Fresh Provisions boxes filled with locally sourced ingredients for you to use at home! Each box contains: 3 fruits, 3 vegetables, 3 leafy greens, 3 root vegetables, 1 loaf of bread, ½ gallon of whole milk, 1 pound Cabot butter, 4 boneless chicken breasts, 1 pound ground chuck (85% lean).

Orders may be picked up curbside at 70 Ledgewood Place in Rockland, MA or delivered between the hours of 11:00am and 2:00pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
We can't wait to have our team back together and to continue serving guests at our events, venues, and restaurants! We are looking forward to creating intimate dinners, joyous weddings, and festive celebrations for our wonderful clients as soon as possible.

East Meets West

East Meets West is offering Mother's Day Brunch serving 6 to 8 people featuring quiche, herb roasted chicken breast, orzo salad & more.  Want to celebrate mom with a bottle of bubbly? They are also offering wines and champagnes by the bottle.

Currently we are offering nine meal options that come cold in microwaveable containers. We are comparing this to a meal prep service- everything comes cooked and reheats well! These meals last 5 days- so most of our customers place an order for the week. Meals are priced at $8 each! We are also offering pints & quarts of soup as well as salads.

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
For us, our entire job is based on serving large groups of people. So we are excited to get back to that. We also can’t wait to get our team back together- they are the ones that make what we do fun and rewarding! We are excited for our brides and grooms to have their best day ever and we are looking forward to working with some of the best venues and vendors. 

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We understand that this is a trying time and things are not the way we’d like- but we will come back from this. We are here to help and will do everything we can to make sure our clients and fellow vendors are taken care of. We are beyond proud of the hospitality industry for coming together and making the best of this situation!

We have also been donating food to local people in need and for front line workers at our hospitals.

What are you looking forward to most when event season resumes?
Like everyone else, we really miss our Team.  We have been in business for 17 years and have built an incredibly talented group of event professionals who love what they do.  It is strange to be just a skeleton crew and all of a sudden be solely in the pickup business.  We want to go back to creating beautiful events.  Luckily, we are seeing many of our friends and customers, in the parking lot, who are giving us lots of encouragement and advice!  That means a lot to us.

What message do you want to share with your clients/fellow vendors?
We love reading the responses of our fellow caterers.  These are hard working and good people!  We echo everything they have said, and want you to know that we will do everything we can to get back in business, including listening to the medical professionals, scientists and our Governor.  Our health is so important.  If we don’t have good health, we can’t enjoy anything, including events.  Stay safe and be patient!  We believe we will come out of this better in a lot of ways!
